Math Video Websites

In Georgia, we have transitioned to the Common Core standards for math.  Here are some great FREE websites I've found that can be used to supplement student learning.

LearnZillion is a great site for teachers to use for instruction or for reteaching. Once you get a free teacher account on LearnZillion, you will have access to videos for all the standards.  The lessons are very clean and simple with a unified professional look to it. Teachers can use these videos for the students who miss the instruction or need reteaching. Here's an example of a video.

Khan Academy is a great resource for students and I like how there is a huge knowledge map that can show a student what areas they have completed.  Although it is not aligned to the Common Core standards, many of the concepts are the same but maybe in a different order.  This would really be helpful to teachers to help students learn the concepts they may have misconceptions or misunderstandings about.  I really love their video on the Khan Academy Vision for future learning.
